Burke Johnson (Professor in the Department of Counseling and Instructional Sciences, University of South Alabama) has graduate degrees in research methodology (PhD), psychology (MA), sociology (MS), and public policy/administration MPA). Burke is coauthor/coeditor of 8 books, including the following in the area of mixed methods research: The Routledge Reviewer’s Guide to Mixed Methods Analysis (2021, Routledge, ed. by Onwuegbuzie & Johnson), Foundations of Mixed Methods Research: Integrating Quantitative and Qualitative Approaches in the Social and Behavioral Sciences (2021, Sage, by Tashakkori, Johnson, & Teddlie), Educational Research: Quantitative, Qualitative, and Mixed Approaches (by Johnson & Christensen), Oxford Handbook of Multimethod and Mixed Methods Research Inquiry (2015, Oxford, ed. by Hesse-Biber & Johnson).
